Ways to Serve at VBS
There are many ways you can serve during VBS! Take a look at the opportunities below and sign up using the appropriate option.
Prep Team
Help behind the scenes the week before VBS (June 15–18) preparing crafts, setting up classrooms, organizing materials, and more.
Welcome Team
Serve on the first day of VBS (June 22) by helping check in children and directing them to their crews.
Kitchen Crew
Assist in preparing daily snacks for the kids and refreshments for volunteers in our Pit Spot area.
Station Helper
Help lead or assist at one of our VBS activity stations.
Set Building
Help build and create sets and props for our Galactic VBS theme (June 13 & 20).
Clean-Up Crew
Help clean and pack up supplies on the last day of VBS (June 25)
Crew Leader (Ages 16+)
Lead a group of children throughout the week. Crew Leaders guide their group to stations, lead crew huddles, and help create a fun and safe environment.
Jr. Crew Leader (Middle School – Age 16)
Assist a Crew Leader and help guide a group of kids throughout the week.
Volunteer Sign-Up
Youth Volunteers
Sign up with your Youth Leaders during midweek Youth Group or Sunday morning Youth Service.
6th Grade Volunteers
Sign up with Ms. Rachel during 345 or on Sunday mornings.
Please note: In order to volunteer as a 6th grader, your child must be part of our 345 midweek program or our Kids’ Service on Sunday mornings.
If your child is not involved in one of these programs, they will be placed on a waitlist and you will receive an email if a volunteer opening becomes available.
